Finally a hero dad who survived

Today’s Daily Mail ran a story about a ‘hero’ dad who donated an organ to his dying child. It’s pretty impressive to be named a hero and survive unscthed. Most ‘hero’ dads get beaten senseless, die in a war or go to jail. Still, a grueling operation sounds pretty rough. It’s probably easier to stick to being ‘nearly-hero dad’ or just ‘funny dad’ or possibly even ‘that funny man who smells a bit like beer dad’.
